Scorpions Rare Songs: Strangers in Paradise

Here is my second blog on Scorpions rare songs. This one has never been released to my knowledge as well. It is titled Strangers in Paradise. It was written by Klaus Meine, Herman Rarebell, and Jim Vallance. Because of who the writers are, my best guess is that it was written in the Crazy World studio session(s).

This link pretty much confirms that this song is a leftover track from the Crazy World sessions. This list also has a few songs I didn’t know about. This link also implies that these tracks are out there somewhere floating around. Maybe one day we will be able to hear them.

New Scorps News Feature: Rare Songs “All My Love”

Hello everyone! It has been a long time, maybe never, that I have posted on here. Scott is doing an awesome job, BTW. But I wanted to start a new feature on here. We’ll see if I can keep it up on a regular basis. I wanted to start bringing to light some of the very rare songs that the Scorpions have written and maybe recorded. We may not know very much at all about them, but we can speculate. I will post all of my evidence and why I feel the way I do.

The first song that I would like to bring up is entitled “All My Love”. It has not ever been released to my knowledge. It was written by Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker. I assume Klaus wrote the lyrics and Rudolf the music. It appears in the BMI Repertoire database of all songs for which BMI has the rights.

It is BMI Work #20794945. Note that you will have to start a search first. Approve the terms and conditions. And then the link I have above will take you directly to the song information.

I believe that this is a left over song from the Blackout sessions. A song with this title appeared on early press releases for the 50th Anniversary Release of Blackout. However, the final release did not include the song.

Maybe one day we will be able to hear what this song sounds like.
