Klaus Meine interview for the Hartford Advocate

It is only natural to approach new albums by classic bands with skepticism, so doubt if you must. But I’ve listened to the new Scorpions album, Humanity Hour 1 like a hundred times since I got it, and not because I needed that much, you know, interview prep, but because it freakin’ rocks.

A New Interview With Matthias Jabs and a Review from The Toronto Show

The Scorpions are currently finishing up a short North American tour. The band will be back in 2008 for a massive world tour.

What follows is an exclusive GlamMetal.com interview with Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs.

(interesting answer from Matthias to all North American Fans in this interview with Glam Metal) here is the question and answer….

Glam Metal-You’re currently on a small North American promo tour. I just read that the band plans on doing a larger tour in 2008 in the U.S.A., right?

MJ-Yes. We’ve been 3 months in Europe already, we will go on to the 2nd half of October to Asia, then some more shows in Europe then the year is almost over. When an album is released you try to be everywhere simultaneously, which is practically impossible. You try to give it your best shot. It makes more sense to come around next year and we have new management and they’re planning at least 90 dates in the states starting in April.

Venue Change for Vancouver Show September 12

Here is the ticket information:Due to the closure of The Orpheum Theatre, the Scorpions concert scheduled for September 12 has been moved to the P.N.E. Forum. Tickets purchased for The Orpheum show will be honoured at the door. All $79.50 & $59.50 purchased tickets from The Orpheum show will receive a partial refund of their ticket purchase so the final ticket cost will equal $49.50 plus applicable service charges. For any applicable ticket purchased via credit card (over the telephone and Internet), the partial refund will be processed the week after the show (September 13) via the credit card company. Those that have purchased their Orpheum ticket via a Ticketmaster Outlet (cash or credit card) will need to go back to the Point of Purchase for their partial refund the day starting after the show (September 13). The deadline for this will be September 18 (end of day). For any consumers who do not wish to see the show at the new venue, full refunds are available at point of purchase until September 13.
